① Powerful and easy to expand

④ Wide frequency response range
The frequency response range of induction meter is generally 45-55Hz, while that of electronic multi-function meter is 40-1000hz.
⑤ Little affected by external magnetic field
Induction meter is based on the principle of moving in magnetic field, so the external magnetic field has a great influence on the meter performance. The electronic watt hour meter mainly relies on multiplier, and its measurement performance is little affected by the external magnetic field.

There are strict requirements for the installation of induction energy meter. The electronic watt hour meter adopts the electronic measurement method, without mechanical rotating parts, so there is no such problem. Advantage
Compared with mechanical energy meter, electronic energy meter has obvious advantages. For example, it has strong anti stealing ability, high measurement accuracy, good load characteristics, straight error curve, strong power factor compensation performance, low power consumption, especially its measurement parameter flexibility and derivative functions. Due to the application of single-chip microcomputer to inject new vitality into the electric energy meter, these are difficult to do for the general mechanical meter. But the early electronic watt hour meter also has some obvious shortcomings, such as short working life, easy to be interfered by the outside world, and less reliable than mechanical watt hour meter.
